and opening the doors wider.
Our Community Access Program works to reduce geographic and financial barriers to live music and theatre.
We intentionally build national tours that prioritize smaller, rural and underserved communities, bringing professional artists and productions to places that may have fewer opportunities to experience this work close to home.
Through partnerships with local and national community organizations, we aim to create more opportunities for individuals and families facing financial barriers to attend, through subsidized and complimentary tickets, reduced pricing and other community-based initiatives.
The program reflects STA’s commitment to connection, belonging and shared experience — building tours that don’t simply visit communities, but actively seek to engage them and expand access wherever we can.

HELP SEND A CHILD TO A WHOLE NEW WORLD
In 2027, A Whole New World will travel to approximately 60 communities across Canada — and we want to make sure cost isn’t the reason a child misses out.
Sound the Alarm is working with participating Boys & Girls Clubs (BGC), Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada, and Kids Up Front to provide free and significantly reduced tickets to children, youth and families facing barriers to participation.

$100+: helps us reach even more young people and strengthen community access
